The Crooked Forest, also called „Fairy Tale Forest” by the residents, is located in Nowy Czarnów, four kilometers from Gryfino, near the Dolna Odra Power Plant. It is a cluster of over 100 uniquely curved pines growing in the area of 0.5 ha.
The trees have been recognized as a natural monument and are under protection. The forest belongs administratively to the Gryfino Forestry Management – Pniewo Forest District.
